Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner

For the second year running the Wall family brought home not one but two of the trophies during the second annual Rey Abrego Family BBQ. People are not happy, but when you are good you are good!

Cruising With The Walls

We took our annual cruise. This time we took my mom and met up with Chad's brother, Craig, and his family. Craig took most of the pictures so this is all I have on my camera. We cruised to Cozumel out of New Orleans. The boys had a great time since they could swim so much better this year!

Future Olympians

Chase and Colin both swam on the Willow Fork Country Club Swim Team. We were so proud of the progress they made over the season. Chase cut his lap time in half! Colin was able to swim the whole lap by the end of the season. It was quite and experience and we can't wait for next season, not to mention their tushies look really cute in their suits!

First Grade, Here I Come!

Can you believe Chase made it through his forst year of school already? Here are some pictures of his awards ceremony. Chad took the pictures since I was conducting my own ceremony in my classroom at the time thus the poor quality! LOL!

Happy Birthday My Boys

We decided to give the boys a joint party this year before school ended. It was a great party at the gymnastics place. Almost everyone showed up and the kids had a great time! I can't believe how fast they are growing up!

Mother's Day

The boys decided to take me out on a date for mother's day. We were going to see a movie and then to lunch. We drove to the movie theater and when we got out of the car we discovered we must have hit something on the way to the theater because my tire was going flat. So instead of a date to the movies mommy got a date to the tire store for new tires!

Just Goofing Around

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon with nothing to do so Chad and I decided to take the boys to La Centerra for Ice Cream. This is what happened!

Chase, the Baseball Player

Chase played baseball for the Daimondbacks this year. His coach was Rex Anderson. Rex was my student teacher a few years back. It's a small world. Chase really loves playing baseball and especially likes to play pitcher and first base.
it was a great season!

Slumber Party

Chase has a friend in his class named Dillon. Dillon's mommy is also a teacher at our school. Dillon and his brother , Dallas spent the night at our house. It was the first time we ever has a sleepover with friends other than our relatives. the boys had a blast making cookies and decorating them. All was good and no one ended up hurt! As a matter of fact, it was Colin who kept everyone up late!

Colin got a hold of a pair of scissors and this is what happened...

I cried. I was growing it out for school pictures. I had to buzz it just to get an even cut.

Trail Riding Cowboys

Chase's counselor at school, Ms. Laws, belongs to a trail riding group the Sealy Soul Riders. They had a thier very first trail ride in Sealy this year. All three boys were able to ride in the trail ride!

Grandparent's Day

Sita came and ate lunch with Chase at school. Of course she brought him lunch instead of making him eat cafeteria lunch! He is so spoiled!

Thanksgiving Feast

Colin had a feast at his school. Chad and I both went. Isn't his hat the cutest?

Going Back in Time

Here is a picture of Chase and his teacher Ms. Vaculin on the first day of school.

Meet My Boys

I've decided to start a blog like everyone else to keep everyone up to date on the happenings in the Wall family! I am the mom to two wonderful but wild boys! I wouldn't have it any other way!

Chase is finishing up his first year in school. He attends school at McRoberts Elementary where I teach. I absolutely love having him there with me. He has the BEST teacher named Lacey Vaculin. We love her. She is so good natured, patient and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Chase has also made some really great friends in his class. His best friend is named Dillon. His mom is a teacher at the school as well. Chase is learning to read and it is truly amazing! Chase is playing baseball for KNLL on the D'backs. His coach is one of my former student teachers! It's a small world!

Colin is in the chimp class at Holy Covenant. He is amazing. The teachers all say he is so quiet and studious. I keep asking if they are talking about my son! The other day he came home and told me he knew a new word. It was metamorphosis. He proceeded to tell me the correct definition and an example. He is so smart. He also started playing soccer for the YMCA this year. We are really proud of how is playing something without his brother. Although Colin is really smart, he is really sneaky! The other day, I had a really bad migraine so I let the kids play in the backyard like I always do. Chad was due home any minute. I was sitting in the recliner resting my eyes and i heard the refrigerator open. I thought they were getting a juice pouch. Chad got home a few minutes later to find our new dog, Basha, covered in syrup and grape jelly, courtesy of Colin! What am I going to do with that boy?
